Go to the companion site

Students enrolled in FRE 201 must complete a minimum of one hour of lab work at the Language Resource Center per week of instruction (see the lab requirement page).

Lab work consists primarily on activities in the student manual which have a listening (aural or video) component. Other homework activities, such as studying or doing fill-in-the-blank exercises, do not count as lab work. You may receive time (yellow) vouchers for time engaged in lab work activities ONLY. You must sign-off (get your voucher) if you intend to stay at the lab doing non-lab work.

Some students may need more than one hour per week to complete their lab assignments. Students who complete their activies in less than one hour should do optional lab activities as directed by their instructor.

To complete your lab activities, go to the Language Laboratory at the Language Resource Center, in Meier Hall 205. Hours are posted at the LRC's site. On the computer desktop, click on FRE201 and follow the instructions. If you need help, please ask the lab attendant.
